”Truth is the first casualty of war”… (thank you Aeschylus, Sun Tsu, Hiram Johnson, Arthur Ponsonby and all the countless others that have expressed variations on this truism throughout literature and history). But, in a world of information overload, we’ve all run out of empathy. Only shiny new consumerism and sensory massage can get us through the day and night. We are no longer capable of seeing or feeling other than through the lens of our own selective bias, spoon fed by a corporate ubermedia completely devoid of any moral compass, unconstrained by laws or territorial borders.
